New technological systems represent the unity of three components: fibre lasers, coordinate robotics and working laser heads. These components are accommodated in one system by means of special software to create a new generation of equipment.

IPG Corporation fibre lasers, the new source of laser radiation, have unique performance characteristics:

  • lifetime over 100 000 h with possibility of its extension;
  • efficiency 2.5 times higher than that of other industrial lasers;
  • low operating costs — the laser does not consume gases and short-life elements; fibre-optical technology saves the user the problem of optical adjustments;
  • highest quality of radiation which is transmitted via optical fibre of up to 100 m long;
  • supercompactness — power/weight ration 5 times better than that of other producers.

Coordinate robotics — gantry tables on linear motors of new generation or industrial robots — not only simplifies operation of the equipment in workshop conditions, but substantially increases the service life.

Characteristic parameters of equipment with linear motors:

  • high speed of up to 2000.3000 mm/s that minimizes travel time losses
  • high starting acceleration of up to several G, that is important for high-speed cutting of thin metal
  • high positioning accuracy (normally better than 100 microns) due to exclusion of intermediate kinematic elements
  • low wear of mechanics.

VF heads are developed for most effective utilization of fibre laser advantages. In fact the laser itself is an energy source which cannot perform different operations independently. To apply the laser, the heads shall be used to form the stream of laser light and focus it for various processes. The peculiar feature of vario-head VF is the function of automatic adjustment of relative focal length and the set of replaceable working attachments tips on magnetic retainers to ensure accomplishment of a wide spectrum of technological operations.< /p>
